Photographs from the Headley Theatre Club's first Bard's Night, 26th April 2008

In 2008 we decided enough is enough of those Burns Nights which seem to be becoming a fixture here each January – time to celebrate England annually at St George's Day (23rd April, which happens by some lucky chance also to be the anniversary of Shakespeare's death and, some say, his birth too). So we organised an Elizabethan feast with a programme nodding to the Bard. It went well, and we have repeated the theme in following years.
