The Tickets

The Village Hall laid out before most guests had arrived …

… filling up: view to left from stage …

… view to right from stage …

… and the 'top table' on the stage.

Your genial hosts for the evening, the baron and baroness.

The piping was all White on the night.

The baron takes his part in the madrigal singing very seriously!

Our answer to the bagpipes of Burns Night - drummers drumming.

Our answer to the haggis of Burns Night - a Hampshire hog …

… which Nick seems to make short work of!

Luke declaims on the floor of the Hall …

… and later on the stage, but his agent looks unimpressed.

A favourite part of the evening – who will read the Soliloquy fastest?

First up, your local councillor, Anthony Williams …

Izzy Glinn…

… who volunteered her dad, Peter.

We all thought Jean Teuten was going to win …

… but she was pipped at the post by rapid-reading Penny McKay!

Jack Warshaw from the new colonies entertained us with strings.

Neil Hardinge supported the English rose.

Sarah Horne made the trek from darkest Kent to sing to us.

And Deb Williamson wrapped it all up with a reading.
