Walk 1 Romans, Rogues & Royals Access
East Worldham & the Hangers 9 miles/14 km 'figure of 8' can be done in two sections
The walk starts and ends at East Worldham church, visiting Wyck, Neatham, West Worldham, Hartley Mauditt, Candovers, King John's Hill.
Walk 2 Rioters' Walk Access
Selborne to Headley & return 14 miles/22.5 km
The walk starts from the Queens Hotel in Selborne going to the Holly Bush in Headley by way of Whitehill and Standford, and returning by way of Kingsley and Oakhanger. [The Robin Hood at Standford is no longer open sorry]
Walk 3 Pots & Oaks Access
Alice Holt Forest 7 miles/11 Km
The walk starts at Rowledge and circles Alice Holt Forest, also visiting the northern River Wey.
Walk 4 Monks & Fish Access
Frensham ponds & Waverley Abbey 10 miles/16 km can be done in sections
The walk starts at Frensham Great Pond, visiting Frensham village, Waverley Abbey (optional extension), Tilford and Frensham Little Pond.
Walk 5 Broomsquires' Trail Access
Hindhead to Thursley Common & return 10¼ miles/16.5 km 'figure of 8' can be done in two sections
You may start the walk at either Hindhead or Thursley, visiting Gibbet Hill, the Devil's Punch Bowl, Thursley and Thursley National Nature Reserve.
Walk 6 Whitaker Wright's Way Access
Witley to Hindhead & return 12 miles/19 km can be done in two sections
You may start the walk at Witley or Hindhead, visiting Brook, Bowlhead Green, South Park moat, Gibbet Hill, Emley Farm, and skirting Witley Park.
Walk 7 Cut & Glass Access
Chiddingfold to Dunsfold & return 10½ miles/17 km
The walk starts at Chiddingfld, visiting Pickhurst, the Wey & Arun Canal and Dunsfold.
Walk 8 The Tennyson Trail Access
Blackdown to Lurgashall & return 7½ miles/12 km
The walk starts at the NT car park near Tennyson's house Aldworth on Blackdown, visiting the 'Temple of the Winds' viewpoint, Cotchet Farm and Lurgashall.
Walk 9 Iron & Paper Access
Hammer via Linchmere to Northpark & return 9¼ miles/15 km can be done in two sections
The walk starts at Hammer Vale, visiting Linchmere, Northpark, Shulbrede and Shottermill.
Walk 10 Flora Thompson Trail Access
Grayshott to Griggs Green & return 10 miles/16 km ' figure of 8' can be done in two sections
The walk starts at Grayshott, visiting Waggoners Wells, Bramshott, Griggs Green, Liphook, Ludshott Common and Superior Camp.
Walk 11 Around Grayshott Access
Inner walk 1 mile/1.5km; Outer walk 2 miles/3 km
A short walk around the village centre, and a longer walk taking in Whitmore Vale and Stoney Bottom.
Walk 12 Around Haslemere - two walks which can be combined

John Owen Smith was born in 1942 and trained as a Chemical Engineer at London University, but spent most of his working life designing commercial Information Systems for the paper-making industry.
