150th Anniversary of Flora Thompson's birth

Here's what we know so far about things being planned in 2026 to celebrate it

Spring — Exhibition in the Millennium Centre, Liphook
May 8th — 8pm: Introduction to the play "Flora's Heatherley" in Headley Village Hall, including a short talk on her life in the area (free entry)
May 12th — 8pm: Cast auditions for "Flora's Heatherley" in Headley Village Hall
May 27th — 3pm: Talk by John Owen Smith at Liphook on Flora's time in Hampshire (at the Bramshott & Liphook Heritage Society)
July 17th, 18th, 19th & 24th, 25th — Performances of "Flora's Heatherley" touring in the Grayshott/Liphook area – see poster
Jul/Aug/Sep — Exhibition in the Exercise Yard at Buckingham Old Gaol Museum
Aug/Sep — 2/3 week Festival at Buckingham Old Gaol Museum
Sep 12 — Talk by John Owen Smith at Buckingham Old Gaol Museum on Flora's life
